Oklahoma State Fair

We headed off to the State Fair. Rowan was in amazement of all the lights, noises and people. His favorite part was the petting zoo. It was mine too, free and enclosed so he could run around without worries. He loved the animals. He was running around yelling and pointing. If there was something he wanted to see, he would push people out of the way. He kept tripping and falling face first, and he didnt even miss a beat. He was the show of the petting zoo for the adults. His favorite were the bunnies, it took me forever to get him to move on. He kept coming back to them as well.

He wasnt too sure about the fair at this point.

This just makes him seem so big.

He wasnt afraid of anything. One parent said if I let him loose in there with the animals he would probably just chase them all!!! No doubt, he was in his element.

Nature Center at Ft. Gibson Lake

The cabin

Wes' family has some property with a cabin, it is a beautiful place to visit and explore. We try to get out there often this time of year because the weather is also beautiful. Anyway, we took the family out last weekend; Wes, Me, Rowan and Rocky, we also took a couple of friends, Bobby and Amber. We had a lot of fun.

Rowan, Amber and I are taking the Ranger to look at the horses and drive around the property. He is such a big boy. He fell asleep on the way back, even on that dirt, rocky, road. He is an outdoors kinda guy!

Playing in the dirt! All boy!

My two boys are worn the heck out. This was our trip home.

Playtime!

Rowan knows how to have fun and I try to capture as much as I can with my camera. Makes me wish I was a little one again! These are fun!!

Rowan and Uncle Jaik reading a book. Rowan loves to read and brings about 20 books a day to whoever is willing to read to him.

A luxury that Mom doesnt allow very often. Can you tell that he was not letting go of that cone!

This has turned into a nightly routine. Get on the floor and shake every limb as fast as you can. And in the mean time laugh until you get the hiccups!

Grandpa finally made us get out the pool! Rowan had a blast. Mom had a blast soaking Grandpa too!

All pooped out!

Nothing is more fun than the good 'ol sock basket!
