10 Months Already!?!?!?

This has been a crazy month! Rowan is more verbal, mobile and demanding than ever. I was reading about this month and the months leading up to a year and I can see that it is only the beginning. He is using his voice a lot and trying to talk to us, then he just gets so mad when we don't know exactly what he wants!! Last night he threw his pacifier in a tantrum, its so hard not to laugh at him. He is into everything now that he is cruising and crawling. Some of his favorite places are behind the recliner, standing up against the back door yelling at Rocky, and climbing on Rocky. I am loving life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here are a few pics of him the past few weeks.

Isn't he sweet?

Poor Rocky Dog! He just takes it, the two of them are buddies.

Here he is in his toy box. This is the first time he has done gotten in there on his own.

Here he is eating macaroni and cheese, yes its organic!!! And let me tell you that boy takes eating seriously. He doesn't mess around.

Here is his adorable smile. He is my little Eddie Munster.

Ok a couple of more that I just love. Of course one of him sleeping is a must and one with him and his Great-Grandad!

Rowan is 9 months

Well I have run out of room on the babysite. I thought I would move over here and start posting on our blog. Here I can upload videos, pictures and try to be a little more creative.

Rowan is 9 months now. Not much has changed since his 8 month update. He is getting around really well and is balancing on his feet easily. Its hard to believe that he will be walking soon. He has discovered real food, and he isnt looking back! He is always trying to take the food on my plate. I have told myself to start eating better so I can share with him, but so far it hasn't worked. Him and Rocky have officially started a club against mom. They are lifelong pals and Rocky has started listening as good as a 9 month old puppy. Its been fun!

Here we go!

Starting a blog is a lot of pressure. I refused to take the leap until I could lower the expectations of myself and just let go. We are a part of a world where everything is easy and already made up for us. Just click a button and go, which one sounds like you most? I have to admit, its a lot easier than thinking and putting those thoughts down for others to read and dissect. So you might find my blog to be simple and a little on the quiet side. Eventually I wont shut up even on here, just give me some time to open up!!

IDPA

Wes has been competing in the IDPA matches in Oklahoma and surrounding states. What is IDPA, it is the International Defense Pistol Association. I thought I would share some pictures of him competing. He has taken 1st in the Arkansas State Match in his class. He will be competing in the Oklahoma, Missouri, and Texas State matches in the next few months.
